NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed percentage rate tenders are invited by the EE (C) Room No. 141, Engineering Department,
JNU from the eligible contractor having valid registration in appropriate class & category in
CPWD/MES/Deptt. of Telecommunication /Railway/NDMC/Central PSU & Delhi PWD for the
following works:
Name of work: Providing and laying vitrified tiles in Room No. 119, 230, 233, 20, 120, 121 of
Admin. Building, JNU
Estimated cost: Rs. 3,20,956/-
Last Date of receipt of application for issue of tender: 09.05.2015 upto 4:00 P.M.
Last Date of sale of tender: 10.05.2015 upto 12.30 P.M.
Last Date of receipt of Tender:- 13.05.2015 upto 3.00 P.M and will be opened on the same day at 3.30
P.M.
Cost of tender: Rs. 500.00 (Non-Refundable) (to be submitted along with application of issue of
tender)
E.M.D. :- Rs.6419/-
P.G. :- 5% of Tendered value before award of work
Security Deposit :- @ 5% of Tendered Amount (After adjusting EMD)
Time allowed ;- 03 months
JNU reserve the right to reject any or all the tenders or accept them in part without assigning any
reason.
Earnest Money Rs. 6419/- should be deposited along with tender document in the shape of
bankers cheque/Bank Draft of scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Finance Officer, JNU. The Tender and
the earnest money shall be placed in separate sealed envelopes, each marked, “Tender” and “Earnest
Money” respectively. Both the envelopes shall be submitted together in another sealed envelope with the name of work and due date of opening written on envelope. The envelopes marked, “Tender” of only those Tenderers shall be opened, whose earnest money, placed in the other envelope, is found to be in order.

2. The application should be given for the issue of tender document along with attested photocopy of the
Registration, PAN No. & TIN No. and current Return File in respect of TIN.
Note:- Downloaded tenders are not acceptable, interested bidders has to purchase tender
document from the Engineering Department JNU upto specified date and time as mentioned
above.
