Sealed quotations are invited by the Central Library, JNU for the procurement of [01] One Duxbury Braille Translator (Latest Version) license and media for Visually Challenged Students and Researchers. The following item under the terms and conditions mentioned below:
Duxbury Braille Translator (Professional Version) (Latest Version) (Windows Version) 01
OCR Software should support all the following features/functions: Duxbury Braille Translator Software is to be used with Screen Reading/Text to Speech Software on Windows Operating System. It should have the facility to convert Hindi and other European languages (French, German, Spanish etc.) e-text to braille for braille embossing. It should be compatible with Braille Index Basic D Embosser. Note:- JNU, Central Library is already using Duxbury Braille Translator DBT WIN version 10.3. Terms & Conditions: 1. The quotations must be addressed to Section Officer, Management Section, Central Library, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067 and may be sent/submitted by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier/By Hand duly sealed in the envelop and super scribed "Quotation for Duxbury Braille Translator (Latest Version) " . 2. JNU, Central Library is already using Duxbury Braille Translator (DBT WIN) version 10.3. Quoted rates should be for upgraded version, if it is require to purchase new/fresh than a proprietor certificate and price proof from the manufacturer should be submitted. 3. The vendors are required to enclose copies of valid Registration No., PAN No., TIN No., Service Tax No., without which the quotations shall not be accepted. 4. VAT/TAXES, if applicable should be mentioned clearly. 5. Price quoted should be at F.O.R. Central Library JNU, New Delhi-67. 6. Software updates should be provided, as and when made available from company/manufacturer. 7. The rates quoted should remain valid for a period of 90 days for acceptance and supplies will have to be made at the quoted rates. 8. No advance payment will be made.
