MAINTENANCE CONTRACT OF WARMAN PUMPS AND CLUTCH AT CONCENTRATOR PLANT
Last date, time and place for acceptance of tender: -- 31.03.2015 at 2.30PM in the Tender Box marked as CONTRACT kept in the Tender Room at Purchase department i.e. in the 3rd Floor of Administrative Building of KCC”. Date & time of tender opening – 31.03.2015 at 2.30PM EMD amount: Rs 8500 ( Rs Eight Thousand five hundred only) EMD Mode of payment: In the form of demand draft, pay order, Banker‟s Cheque or Bank Guarantee (BG) from any Scheduled Commercial Bank except Co-operative and Gramin Bank.DD. In case of DD/BC it should be payable on SBBJ, Khetri Nagar or IOB, Khetri Nagar or IOB, Kolihan Nagar. Cost of tender form: NIL Scope & quantum of work, guarantee period, penalty applicable, measurement of the Jobs : As per annexure I. Scope of materials $ equipments to be supplied by party and to be supplied by HCL:As perAnnexureII General terms & Conditions: As per Annexure III Price bid quotation: In the Performa as per annexure IV Bidder‟s pre qualification & Submission of offer : As per Annexure V
SCOPE OF WORK:Job descriptions have been given below in detail. 1.Dismantling, Overhauling and fitting the air clutch of Grinding mills. a). Dismantling the air clutch assembly from the Mill by opening the bolts and taking it out. b). Dismantling the various components like clutch drum, side plates, centre shaft assembly, backing plates, rim etc. c). Preparation of new backing plates with friction block liners with mechanical screws. d). Overhauling the centre shaft assembly, replacement of shaft, bearings and bearing housings, if necessary. e). Assembly of clutch with new/ overhauled components like clutch drum, side plates, backing plates with liners and centre shaft assembly as per the instruction of Engineer-in- charge. f). Fitting the above assembly in the Mill. g). Taking trial and adjustment of magnetic centre. 2. Overhauling of bearing assembly for 10/8,8/6, 6/4 Warman Pumps and VASA-150 Pumps ------------------------------------------------------- Warman pumps. ------------- a). Cleaning the bearing assembly from out side for any dirt or grease etc. b). Dismantling the assembly by opening the end cover etc. c). Removal of old bearing and other components from the shaft. d). Cleaning the shaft and taking measurements on bearing seats etc. Check suitability for reuse. e). Heat the new bearings in the oil bath. f). Mount the bearings on the shaft along with grease retainer etc. g). Clean the bearing housing and checking the bore etc. h). Fit the shaft with bearings in the bearing housing i). Fitment of the other component like labyrinth seal and end covers etc. j). Check the end clearance as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge. 3. Overhauling of 8/6,10/8,and 6/4 pump ------------------------------------ a). Fixing the blind in the suction line. b). The suction and delivery pipe has to be dismantled. c). Casing, impeller, frame plate liner, assembly and pulley to be dismantled. d). Check the condition of the base and frame plate and cover plate. Cover plates bolts to be replaced, if necessary. e). Pulley to be fitted in assembly. f). Assembly to be kept on base and alignment to be done. g). Stuffing box to be made ready and to be fitted and gland to be fitted. h). Frame plate liner, FPL studs, impeller to be fitted with O-rings. i). Cover plate liner and throat bush to be fitted in cover plate casing according to the condition of cover plate liner and throat bush. j). Casing to be fitted. k). Assembly to be adjusted. l). Suction and delivery line and V-belts to be fitted. m). Suction blind to be opened.RFQ:5553 3 4. Overhauling of VASA-150 pump ----------------------------------------- a). Closing the valve in the suction and delivery line and blind the same. b). The suction and delivery pipe has to be dismantled. c). Casing, impeller, volute casing, frame plate, rubber seal for stuffing box, stuffing box, assembly and pulley etc. to be dismantled. d). Inlet liner to be check and dismantling from cover plate and replace new inlet liner with gasket sheet if necessary. e). Wear plate liner to check and dismantling from frame plate and replace new one with gasket if necessary. f). Check the condition of the base and frame plate and cover plate. Cover plates bolts to be replaced, if necessary. g). Pulley to be fitted in assembly. h). Assembly to be kept on base and alignment to be done. i). Stuffing box to be made ready and to be fitted and gland to be fitted. j). Studs, impeller and sleeve to be fitted with O-rings. k). Frame plate be fitted with base. l). Casing to be fitted. m). Assembly to be adjusted. n). Suction blind to be opened o). Suction and delivery line and V-belts to be fitted. p). Suction valve to be opened Terms & conditions: All tools tackles, chain blocks, welding machine, gas and electrodes etc are to be arranged by you at your own cost and risk. Gas may be provided on chargeable basis, if it is not available out side and if it is available with HCL. No delay should be claimed on account of nonavailability of Gas. 2. You shall provide necessary Manpower at a notice of 2 hours at any point of time. 3. All necessary cleaning around the pump area to be done by you at your own cost. 4. You shall guarantee for satisfactory operation of clutch/pumps for a period of one month running hours (i.e.720 Hrs). Any defects like loosening of bolts or gland leakages, flange leakages etc. and greasing of the equipments during this period shall be attended by you at your own cost. 5. Time is the essence of the contract, Any delay in work shall be liable for penalty @ 2% per shift subject to a max. of 10%. COMPLETION PERIOD OF JOBS. --------------------------- Item No.1---------- 3 Shifts Item No.2,3,4,------ 1 Shift each. Item No.5---------- 2 Shift Item No.6,7,8------ 3 Shifts each. Item No.9---------- 6 Shifts 6. In case you fail to do the job to the satisfaction of Engineer In charge, the job shall be got done through other agency at the risk and cost of you.
