TENDER NOTICE Subject: PROPOSED AIR CONDITIONING WORKS FOR BANK’S J. M. ROAD BRANCH, AHMEDABAD. 1. Sealed item rate tenders are invited by the Chief Manager, Union Bank of India, Regional office, 172/1, Premchand House, Old High Court way, Ashram road, Ahmedabad. The approximate cost of the work is Rs. 283725.00 2. The work to be completed within 30 days from 3rd day of the date of acceptance of work order placed by M/s. Union Bank of India. 3. The tenderers are required to complete form of tender, price the schedule of quantities and sign each page of the Tender Documents before submission. The completed set is to be enclosed in A sealed envelope addressed to: The Chief Manager, Union Bank of India Regional office, 172/1, Premchand House, Old High Court way, Ashram road, Ahmedabad. 4. Tender will be received from 11/ 03 / 2015 to 20 / 03 / 2015 up to 14.00 hour 5. No tender will be received after the expiry of the time notified for receiving tenders under any
circumstances whatsoever. 6. The tender will be opened at 14.30 hours on 20/03/2015 at above address in the presence of bank officers & the representatives of the tenders. 7. Tender shall remain valid for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the notified last date of tender submission. 8. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all tenders received without assignment of any reasons thereof. 9. The tender rate against each item of work / price indicated in the schedule of quantities and rates / price should be indicated both in words and figures. In case of any discrepancy, the rates indicated in words would prevail. All rates should be inclusive of all taxes including sales tax, work contract tax, VAT, octroi, etc. 10. The rate quoted against each item of work / price should be for the complete finished item of work and include all labour, material taxes, overhead, duties, etc. The Bank as per shall reimburse any statutory change in the tax structure after opening of the tender actual. 11. Each tender be accompanied by Earnest Money of Rs.2838 /- (Rupees Two Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Eight only) in the form of Pay Order / Demand Draft in favor of Union Bank of India payable at Ahmedabad. Tenders without Earnest Money shall be summarily rejected.4 12. The earnest money deposited shall not carry any interest and will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers. 13. Earnest money paid by contractor shall be forfeited by the Bank if contractor fails to undertake the job after he is communicated about acceptance of his rates. 14. All tenders in which any of the prescribed conditions are not fulfilled or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected. 15. This tender notice shall form part of the contract documents.
