The Last date to submit the e-tender through “www.eproc.karnataka.gov.in” portal for the purchase of “Pulse Field Magnetometer” under the BRNS project of Prof. V.M. Jali, P.I, Dept. of Physics, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga is extended up to 31.01.2012. Kindly refer to earlier tender notification in the “The Hindu” daily news paper dated 15.12.2011. for details.
e-Tender is invited from Manufacturers/ Dealers for the Scientific Equipment in the enclosed list, required by the Department of Physics, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga under the DAE-BRNS Research Project of Prof. V M Jali.
The Terms & Conditions of the e-Tender are:
1. The University reserves the right to purchase or reject the purchase of the equipment.
2. Last Date to receive Tender Quotation is 31 January. 2012, 5.00 PM.
3. Tender opening date : 02 February 2012 at 5.00 PM.
4. Along with the Tender, the EMD @2% of the total cost of the equipment should be paid.
5. The Tender should be valid for a period of six months from the date of submission.
6. The rates quoted be F. O. R. Gulbarga. If not Packing, forwarding, freight and insurance charges may be
shown separately, if applicable. If these are not shown in quotation, it will be assumed that the quoted rates
are inclusive of all these.
7. Taxes, excise duty etc. may be charged at concessional rates applicable to Govt./educational Institutions.
The necessary Tax concession D Form or Certificate will be given. Taxes, duties etc. should be shown in
the quotation; otherwise it would be assumed that the quoted rates are inclusive of taxes, duties.
8. The Make, Model number etc. should be indicated. A descriptive leaflet giving full technical details of the
product should be attached.
9. If DGS and D rate s contract are applicable, the same may be mentioned.
10. If the Firm is the sole manufacturer / distributor, the necessary documents to that effect may be attached.
11. Terms of payment will be generally after the delivery, installation and satisfactory testing.
12. The equipment worth more than Rs. 10,000/- to be supplied by foreign Principals will be imported against
Pass Book / OGL and hence Customs duty should be excluded. Price should be F.O.R. Indian Port,
preferably Bangalore.
13. The firms may be called for negotiation meeting. All the purchase procedures of Gulbarga University will
be followed.
14. After successes installation and testing the supplier should ensure to provide in future any technical
assistance as may be required by the principal investigator of the project.
